The Chairman of the Russian Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Kirill Podgorny, participated in KazanForum 2026, which took place in the capital of Tatarstan from May 12 to May 17.
On May 15, 2026, on the sidelines of KazanForum, the RBC Chairman delivered a key presentation during a plenary session organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF). His address focused heavily on the core operations of the Council, the future of strategic interaction between the RBC and the CCI RF, and the specific structural features involved in entering and operating within the UAE and GCC markets.
Throughout the multi-day forum, a series of high-level bilateral meetings were conducted with official delegations from the UAE, Oman, and Egypt. The itinerary also included strategic talks with executives from both Russian and international corporations, including active and prospective members of the Russian Business Council.
The RBC Chairman noted that structural cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia will provide systematic, long-term support for Russian enterprises expanding into the Gulf markets. Furthermore, the targeted discussions with the delegations of the UAE, Oman, and Egypt successfully reconfirmed a strong, mutual interest in expanding multilateral trade and investment cooperation.
